Each Wednesday, Mrs. Esquibel’s door will be open for you to turn in 25 box tops and pick out a gently used book. We have primary as well as intermediate chapter books to choose from.

The California Association for the Gifted and Talented (CAG) has recognized the Oceanside Unified School District as one of only five districts in the state to receive the group’s 5-Star Award. The district will receive the award at the CAG Annual Conference, February 15 in Anaheim.

CAG is comprised of educators, parents and community members dedicated to meeting the unique academic, social and emotional needs of gifted and talented students. Established in 1966, CAG is one of the nation’s largest state advocacy groups of its kind.

PTO Meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:00-8:00 in the library.

All parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend to help make South O the best it can be!
